Ranking

Challenge Rules

  1. A callout to challenge a team must be made on the challenge whatsapp group, booked on Playtomic as a competitive match and played on the Inwine Padel Court. A Screenshot of the completed playtomic score of the match must be posted on the whatsapp group.
  2. The winning team gains the ranking of the challenged team. Every team below this position drops down one position in the ranking  
  3. Bookings must be 90 minutes
  4. Matches are best of 3 sets with a super tie break (first to 10) in the last set.
  5. A Deuce will be plaid with 1 advantage followed by the golden point rule if the advantage is not won.
  6. The first round of callouts will be done by a draw and will define the starting ranking.
  7. Maximum 3 slot callout up from your ranking allowed.
  8. A team must make a minimum of 4 callouts per month.
  9. A callout must be accepted in 48 hours and played within 7 days of callout.
  10. If a callout is not accepted or not played the defending team will forfeit their ranking to the challenging team.
  11. If you challenge up twice in a row you can not decline a challenge from below your ranking unless it is the second successive challenge from the same team.
  12. If you challenge up and lose the game you can not re-challenge the same team again before you do not play a different team.
  13. If you are challenged and lost the game, you are allowed to re-challenge the same team immediately.
  14. If a team makes a partner exchange it is deemed to be a new team and will be moved to the bottom of the ranking.
  15. Teams that are in rank 7 to 10 have one  Wildcard challenge they can use on any in ranking 1 to 10.
  16. In the event of a dispute or rule ambiguity the organizer will have the final resolution authority.
